The local church is God's answer to the world's problems. The Living God didn't just send some information to us through messengers. We need far more than mere information or instructions.
Church is where Jesus, the Man full of life, takes us on as apprentices of life itself.
Church is where we learn to live.
Church is where we can face all the mess of our past and get to the bottom of it all.
Church is where we can support one another in all the challenges of the present.
Church is where we can encourage one another into the great hope that God sets in our future.
Church is the only place where human life can fully flourish, where everybody can fit in, where we can be free of fear, guilt, shame, and darkness.
Church is where we can make sense of everything; where all the rich variety of life can be finally understood and enjoyed.
OUR MISSION
“Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.” - Colossians 3:16
At St Crispin's, we will concentrate on discipling people into the way of Jesus, drawing them deeper into his life and walking together as we follow him and do what he asked us to do.
It is vital in order to do this that the depth and riches of Jesus’ way of life, shown in the Bible, are taught and explored.
multiplication and apprentices
If God’s answer to the world’s problems is church, then we need as many churches as possible.
Though there are amazing individual churches that have many thousands of people, the need is for many more small-scale churches that work like a family - a family where everybody is welcome, everybody is known and everybody is involved.
From the very beginning we want to be looking for opportunities for new churches to spring up. We need to be ready to send out our very best people to lead these new church families.

At the heart of what we will do at St Crispins Church is train apprentices who will in turn lead smaller church communities.
